The Pet Slimmer Competition

Great prizes* for Pet Slimmer

By reaching target weight your pet is eligible to enter the Hill’s Pet Slimmer of the Year competition. To enter the Pet Slimmer of the Year Competition, you need to submit:
  • Good quality ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos so be sure to read our tips on taking great photos.
  • A testimonial of your pet’s weight loss story.

Closing date for entries is 15 August. No late entries will be accepted. Should your pet reach target weight after this date he or she will be eligible for the following year’s competition.

A panel of Hill's judges will select finalists from the eligible competition entrants. They will be announced on the website in the first week of October.

Finalists each receive:

  • Certificate of Achievement
  • 3 month's supply of Hill's food
  • A bottle of champagne to toast your pet's success!

During the month of October a panel of celebrity judges will select their top 3 favourites.

Based on the judges’ decision, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd pet will be chosen and will win a prize. The pet in 1st place will win R10,000, 2nd place will win R7,000 and 3rd place R5,000.

The top pet will also receive the coveted title of Pet Slimmer of the Year and join our esteemed past ambassadors in our Hall of Fame.

* All rewards and incentives will be delivered to your participating practice once the relevant information is processed. Please allow 6 weeks for delivery.
