Enrol your pet

Enrol at any participating practice and you receive a FREE small bag of Hill’s Prescription Diet weight loss food.

Good progress

After three consecutive weigh-ins you receive:

  • Hill’s Metabolic Stews to treat your pet.
  • A gift voucher to redeem on any Hill’s Prescription Diet weight loss product.

Target reached

Congratulations! Your hard work has earned you and your pet

  • A stainless steel pet food bowl worth up to R150
  • Certificate of achievement
  • A gift voucher to redeem on any Hill’s weight maintenance product.
  • Eligibility to enter the Hill’s Pet Slimmer Competition

Step 4

Enter competition

After reaching target weight, you can enter the Hill’s Pet Slimmer competition by submitting:

  • Good quality “before” and “after” photos
  • A testimonial of your pet’s weight loss journey

Step 5

Finalists

A panel of Hill’s judges will select finalists from the eligible competition entries. Each year they are announced on this website in October. Finalists each receive:

  • Certificate of achievement
  • 3 months’ supply of Hill’s food
  • A bottle of champagne to toast to your pet’s success!

Step 6

Ambassador

Based on the judge’s decision, a pet will be chosen for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and will win a prize.

  • The pet in 1st place will win R10,000.
  • The pet in 2nd place will win R7,000.
  • The pet in 3rd place will win R5,000.

The top pet will also receive the coveted title of Pet Slimmer Ambassador for the year and will join our esteemed Hall of Fame.
